Getting Started

We have helped thousands of adult players jump into the amazing sport of tennis and hope to help you as well.  Whether you are brand new to the sport or returning after a long break, we’ve got you covered.

PROGRESSION IDEAS

High quality instruction goes a long way and pairing on-court coaching with an Instagram or Youtube digital coach is a sure way to quickly progress your tennis skills, knowledge, physical and mental fitness.
Here we list ways you can progress your game:

  • 2 HOUR CRASH COURSE WITH HTC
On Friday evenings and Saturday mornings experienced coaches in the Memorial, Heights & Friendswood area offer 2 hour crash courses. You will get to develop your strokes and skills in a friendly environment.
Sign up for a date that works for you.
  • JOIN A COURSE that meets 1 or more times per week with our organization or a local country club.
  •  Grab a friend or loved one and sign up for PRIVATE LESSON package with an experienced tennis pro. Private tennis coaching is typically $80 to $100 per hour and goes down when committing to a package of lessons. Keep in mind that you will be progressing faster with this option, and you can team up with someone to share the cost.
  • Many public facilities around Houston have HITTING WALLS which is a great way to practice solo. *Warning* you better be on your game because the wall never misses :0
Not only is it a great way to improve your strokes, aim and footwork, but it’s also a fantastic workout!
